The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a voluntary recall of of carbon bicycle handlebar stems because of of defects in the products that can cause them to break, posing a fall risk for the rider.

There has been one report of a stem breakage that caused minor injuries. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is interested in receiving injury or incident reports that are related to this product recall or involve a hazard with the recalled products.
