The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada have announced a voluntary recall of about 36,000 Kolcraft Contours Options three- and four-wheeled strollers in the United States, and almost 300 of the same strollers in Canada.
According to the CPSC, children and other users can get their fingers caught in the opening of the locking mechanism used to adjust the handlebars. The CPSC and Kolcraft have received five injury reports of three children whose fingers fingertips were amputated and two adults whose fingers were either lacerated or smashed when working with the hinge mechanism.
