Did you know that you can see a tyrannosaurus rex, a triceratops skull, and a conchoraptor gracillis (whatever that is) less than 20 miles from the front door of our Colorado Springs office?
The Dinosaur Resource Center is a great place to spend the day with family, friends, or students—anyone who appreciates science, biology, history, and dinosaurs. The museum features an awe-inspiring display of dinosaurs, prehistoric marine reptiles, pterosaurs, and fish of North America’s late Cretaceous period. Each fossilized skeleton is displayed in an educational environment, with vibrant graphics and life-size restoration sculptures to give you a peek into the lives of these long-extinct animals.
In addition to the fossils on display, you will also get the chance to see real paleontologists at work in the fossil laboratory, where many fossils are being freed from their rock casings and undergoing the restoration process.
Tours of the Dinosaur Resource Center are included with your admission and are about one hour long.
There are many events being held at the Dinosaur Resource Center in March and April, all of which can be found on the center’s events page. Be sure to visit the Prehistoric Paradise gift shop while you’re there!
All of the personal injury attorneys at Sears & Swanson, P.C. encourage you to visit this truly special museum and science exhibit, especially if you have never taken the short drive up from Colorado Springs.
If you do visit the Dinosaur Resource Center, be sure to tweet at @SearsLawFirm to tell us which exhibit was your favorite!
